Jason applies his passion to make buildings healthier.
Always striving to exceed owner’s expectations, Jason wants to ensure a positive impact in the projects that he takes on. With that goal in mind, he and his team collaborate with designers, builders, and operators to deliver buildings that work right as a whole.
We often ask the owner, what does success look like on this project? Our commissioning process focuses on actual building performance and the ability to operate the building well. We make sure that what the owner sees on paper is the reality that is delivered.”
Through his experience on the owner’s side of a large capital program, Jason understands that open communication is key, even if it means having a difficult conversation. He emphasizes the importance of bringing issues to the owner’s attention right away, breaking down complex technical issues at project team meetings, and stepping in during the transition from contractor to owner in order to ensure a successful project outcome.
What drew Jason to the commissioning industry is the desire to create environments where people can perform at their best every day. As organizations seek to create workspaces that enhance productivity, commissioning is needed to optimize the quality of each indoor environment.
We apply commissioning practices to verify healthy workspaces, focusing on occupant health and the user experience—not just the infrastructure of the facility itself.”
Prior to joining Enovity, Jason worked as the Manager of Sustainability and Commissioning Services at a major healthcare organization. He was responsible for developing and overseeing a comprehensive commissioning program at several major medical campuses that included Level 1 trauma and teaching facilities.
