ERIC KOEPPEL

PE, CEM, CxA, LEED AP

SENIOR DIRECTOR

Eric maintains the high level of quality and technical richness that Enovity is known for.

He oversees technical standards across Enovity’s practice groups, mentoring engineers and contributing to some of the firm’s most challenging and innovative projects. With a background in both practical and academic engineering applications, Eric also lends his breadth and depth of expertise to the development of new services and technologies that enhance value for clients.

To deliver technical services at our level requires highly experienced and driven people, plus the processes, standards, and training that ensure consistency and continue to improve our practice. I’m proud to lead our technical excellence programs."

Eric has championed energy efficiency throughout his career. From early work as a project development manager for a national energy services firm, to his first project with Enovity (the commissioning of the innovative San Francisco Federal Building), to designing  the first boiler energy efficiency program for PG&E, every aspect of Eric’s work has focused analyzing and evaluating systems to optimize building performance.

Eric also advances the energy efficiency industry through his work on ASHRAE Guideline Project Committee 36: High Performance Sequences of Operations for HVAC Systems, and through his long-term involvement with the Association of Energy Engineers and Building Commissioning Association.
