Good Candidates

MBPCx is best suited for large commercial and institutional buildings that feature modern building automation systems (BAS) and direct digital controls (DDC). These buildings are typically 250,000 square feet or larger. Visit our Getting Started page to see the full eligibility requirements or contact Enovity to find out if your customer is a good fit for MBPCx.

HOW ENOVITY’S MBPCx PROGRAM IS DIFFERENT

There are many programs (third party and otherwise) that provide retro-commissioning services, which focuses on low- or no-cost tune-up and repair measures. Enovity’s MBPCx Program does take a retro-commissioning approach; however, a few factors make it unique:

Enovity is both the Program implementer and the technical provider. We can even provide project implementation and/or commissioning services (for a fee), so customers have one point of contact through the life of the project.
The scope of MBPCx includes capital-cost HVAC equipment retrofit opportunities in addition to the typical low- or no-cost measures identified during RCx. Enovity can also provide technical assistance for Demand Response.
MBPCx uses a continuous monitoring toolset to ensure that energy savings persist over time and new performance issues are identified as they happen.
Customers are not required to pay the Program back for any services if no measures are implemented.
